Turrones Picó, a family business in Jijona, has a long history of producing nougat and sweets. Founded in the 1920s by Antonio Picó Mira, it resumed post-Civil War, expanding in the 1950s with the second generation. By 1977, they moved to a 5,000 sqm factory, becoming a well-known brand in national and international markets. Now led by the third generation, Picó is present in over 15 countries and part of the Jijona and Turrón de Alicante Regulatory Council, ensuring high-quality production. Picó's nougat is available in chains and specialty stores.
